Thallium

Thallium (Tl) is a heavy gray-white metal, soft, easily oxidizes in air. Used in production of optical glasses, semiconductors, thermometers, fireworks, pesticides, and previously — in rat poison compositions. In industry used in compounds — thallium oxide, sulfate, acetate. All forms are extremely toxic. One of the most poisonous heavy metals.
